Ambassadors
Primary Source believes in the power of teachers to foster students’ knowledge, skills, and dispositions for thoughtful and engaged citizenship. Making Freedom Ambassadors use those skills to highlight the lives and achievements of African Americans in the collective history and cultural development of the United States. Each Ambassador will receive the Making Freedom Digital Curriculum and participate in Making Freedom professional development opportunities (Value of $1,000).

Join a community of educators committed to connecting and supporting one another in the collective experience of teaching and learning about the resistance, agency, achievements and joy found in the African American experience in the United States. who wish to connect, share, and support one another to enrich their knowledge and application.
Expectations
Ambassadors will be expected to promote and share their usage of the curriculum and are also encouraged to provide feedback to Primary Source on existing and future lessons. Ambassadors should promote Making Freedom through at least 3 monthly posts on their personal and/or professional social media accounts. Examples of posts, preferred hashtags, and account handles will be provided. We encourage Ambassadors to highlight the Making Freedom lessons they use in their classrooms.
